Restrictions and Requirements for All-Star Applications
The deadline for ALL all-star applications is July 18th, 2009. We will announce all casting / inform all performers by July 21st, 2009 at the latest. You MUST be registered for the convention and issued an order confirmation number through Brown Paper Tickets (BPT#), indicating that you have paid in full, for any performance application to be considered.
Photographs of Costume Accuracy
PHOTOGRAPHS OF YOURSELF IN YOUR COSTUME(S) ARE REQUIRED. Please submit photographs of yourself in your costume(s) for the role(s) desired. Photos should exhibit the design and quality of your appearance as your character as much as possible.
Your All-star application includes a line to place a URL to an image hosting site of your choice where pictures of you in your costume(s) can be found. If you choose not to use an image hosting site for this, please email pictures to us when you submit your application.
Other Notes
- When casting performers for roles, we do not discriminate based on gender (which means female Franks, male Columbias, etc. are fine as long as you can do a good job making yourself resemble your character).
- Each major on-screen role will be broken into blocks of scenes (i.e. Frank floorshow, Magenta Time Warp, Frank dinner scene), so that multiple performers may still play their favorite part(s). Unfortunately, there is still limit on the number of performers we can cast for an individual role. If your desired role(s)/scene(s) has/have already been cast to their limit, you may be contacted by the NW Rockypalooza 7 All-star Casting Director with options for other roles/scenes that still need to be filled which you may accept or decline as you wish. Please be prepared to communicate with the Casting Director regarding this.
Check In
Performers in the NW Rockypalooza All-Star cast will be required to check in and attend the All-star cast rehearsal Saturday afternoon for blocking practice.
Performers in the NW Rockypalooza All-Star cast will also be required to check in at the theater no later than 11:00pm on the night of the All-star show. Anyone not checked in by 11:30pm will have a fill-in performer assigned to the role. Unfortunately, too many assigned performers at conventions have flaked and not showed for the performance, so we HAVE to do this. If you find out at any time before the performance (even during the application process) that you can not perform, please let us know so we can withdraw your name from the schedule.
Northwest Rockypalooza 7, the Clinton Street Cabaret & the Clinton Street Theater claim no responsibility for any lost/stolen/tossed/broken items during your performance, nor for any amount or type of personal injury. We will, however, try to hold any convention attendants or performers responsible for any damages caused by them.
You will be required to sign your application on site at registration check in time to note that you have agreed to our terms and restrictions.

Restrictions and Requirements for Pre-Shows
The deadline for ALL preshow applications is July 18th, 2009. We will announce all casting / inform all performers by July 21st, 2009 at the latest. You MUST be registered for the convention and issued an order confirmation number through Brown Paper Tickets (BPT#), indicating that you have paid in full, for any preshow application to be considered.
Program Bio
If approved, we will contact you for a brief bio for our program. All preshows will get a photo or two along with ~100 word bio. You must have this info to us by our program deadline date of July 17th, 2009. (We suggest you prepare this in advance. Submit it after your preshow is approved.)
Check In
You will be required to meet with our Pre Show Coordinator at the All-Star cast rehearsal on Saturday afternoon. If you do not provide us with your music or DVD in advance of the convention, ALL music/video must be provided to us by or at the time the named contact (you) checks in at the convention registration, or we will cancel your performance. We STRONGLY recommend you send us any music or video in advance because of this.
On your assigned preshow performance night, you MUST be ready and checked in with our Pre Show Coordinator 10 minutes before the beginning of show, to confirm that your act and all performers are ready. Acts not checked in by this time will be skipped and re-blocked later in the preshow sequence, if time and reasonable accomodations at last minute are possible. Otherwise, your preshow will be cancelled. We urge you to check in with our Preshow Coordinator at least 20 minutes before the start of the show to prevent any problems.
Time/Setup Restrictions
We recommend that you keep all preshows to less than 6 minutes. All preshows will be scheduled in advance, so it is VERY important we know the approximate length of your performance.
We will allow props and limited set pieces, but you will only be given two minutes maximum to set up whatever you may need for any performance you have. Consideration will be given to anything that may require longer to do, but you must describe in detail to us what you will need and plan to do. We're sorry, no storage of props/sets/costumes/instruments will be allowed in the theatre at any time other than during the performance blocks, and they must be out of the way during all other preshows and performing casts.
General Restrictions
The Clinton Street Theater does allow tasteful displays of nudity. However, we ask that you keep any non-accidental excessive exposure to After-Party events. The NW Rockypalooza Event Staff holds final say on what is too excessive and should be informed well in advance of any performances planning to involve nudity.
We do not allow silly string, blood (fake or real), "wet" or difficult to clean up foods, staining liquids, or any sticky/perishable projectiles to be used in any performance. Any performances found to contain these, or any other actions that damage equipment or property not yours, will be immediately halted and you risk ejection from our convention with no refund.
